By how much they need each other.
Harry burns to avenge his father, to kill Spiderman, but he won’t because he wants Peter. Peter longs for Mary Jane, for real love, but he can’t go to her because he yearns for Harry. However, splintered promises and shattered friendships and hidden desires are little comfort in the dark of night. And so their love is cracked and damaged, but it is their hearts that have been completely broken.
