This semester I have had the pleasure of writing, for a class, fanfiction (of a sort)—also known as my theatre class paper. For the assignment, I took two play characters Peter Stockman from An Enemy of the People and Leonid Gayev from The Cherry Orchard...and slashed them. XD
"An Epilogue in Paris"

... )

And now for something completely different... I'll need this to distract me when I want to take a break from my financial accounting project tomorrow. -__-' Swiped from [livejournal.com profile] jestana:
Give me a character or pairing and I will write snippets of ten different alternate universe for it. One line, ten lines, a ficlet if you're lucky. [ETA: Or if you're very, very lucky a quick sketch. But that's a big maybe. XD]

1. wild west:
2. cyberpunk:
3. furries:
4. pirates:
5. ...in SPACE!!:
6. born another gender:
7. schoolfic:
8. police/firefighters:
9. urban fantasy:
10. harem:

Whoo, I hope everyone had lovely holidays! Mine certainly rocked.

'Nother big thank you, [livejournal.com profile] airtravel, for the Christmas morning Raphael and Asmodeus art. That was amazing and caught me completely by surprise. ^__^ And thank you to [livejournal.com profile] jestana for the Asmodeus/Raphael fic (sooo hawt!) and for the really thoughtful British monarchy book you sent me. (I squeed when I unwrapped it.) Since I like to write historical fiction set in various time periods of Great Britain, that book will be such a handy quick reference. :D

Christmas Day was great for my family, and travel schedules coincided perfectly. My crazy relatives came to my family's house, everybody brought food, and we threw wrapping paper balls at each other, etc. A fun time was had by all, haha. And a fun time is still mine: there were some leftover mini-lobster rolls that my grandma made. Guess who's been washing the mayonnaise off and then dipping the lobster in butter? *grin*

Also, here are the Christmas ficlets plus one extra. War, coercion, oath breaking, mistaken identities, dead ducks, and demon porn! Happy Holidays, everybody!

Title: Green
Fandom: WWII era, original characters
Rating: a very mild PG-13
Pairing: Wilhelm/the General
Summary: Wilhelm cheers up his General.
Notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] aurora_knight. It started off a bit angsty, my dear, but hopefully the ending is happy enough. ^^;

Title: Forgiveness
Fandom: Biblical fiction
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Lucifer/Gabriel
Summary: In the wake of Jesus's Easter Resurrection, Gabriel tries to make amends with Lucifer.

Title: The Other Choice
Fandom: Pirates of the Caribbean/original characters (MoTF) crossover

Notes: For [livejournal.com profile] proudpansy. André managed to weasel his way in here too. Yay threesome, lol.

Title: Priorities
Fandom: Shakespeare's Twelfth Night
Rating: PG

Mayhap you've seen the new Mac ads floating around on TV? They're the ones with Justin Long (on the right) as a Mac computer and John Hodgman (on the left) as a PC.

Cut for images )

They network themselves by holding hands. O_O Whoever wrote these commercials is a genius. However, instead of making me want a Mac, the ads have done two other (probably largely unintended) things:

1.) They've made me love my darling, sometimes dysfunctional, little PC even more.
2.) They've made me want to slash Mac and PC lyke wh0a!

So I did. *grin*

Also, in case anyone wants to see 'em, the ads are on Apple.com here. My PC kept locking up though when I tried to view them so instead I downloaded them through a PC World article. Just go here and right-click on the clip titles and choose Save As. They're only a about 2.5MB each.

Title: Am I Fat?
Fandom: computer technology
Pairing: Mac/PC
Rating: G
Summary: PC worries about his appearance.
Notes: Utter fluff. I can't believe I actually wrote this. No wait, yes, I can.

PC knew he wasn't the slimmest computer on the market anymore. )

x-posted to [livejournal.com profile] mac_hearts_pc where you can find even more of the craziness.

In other news, I also have a shiny new lay-out. It's a total 180 from my last one. *grins* This one is mostly white. O_o I also used my s'Accrocher Saint-Just/Robespierre drawing for the header. And by the by, in case anyone's wondering, the words on the header are: "M'accroches, et ne me délaisses jamais." which more or less translates to "Cling to me, and never abandon me." Yes, yes, very mushy, I know…

I also have a moodtheme now! ZOMG,YES!!!11!1! It is of the dear Commodore Norrington in all his naval goodness. It's a little on the large side (100x75), but I'm quite pleased with it. Next moodtheme I go for will probably be more like 75x50 though.

Now I must make some shiny new icons… *smile*

[livejournal.com profile] lacecravat, my dear, you are nothing short of a goddess. *clings* During my Word Processing class I happened to covertly check my e-mail and find that Miss Cravat had given me 6 months of paid account goodness. *more clingage* Oh the mad (albeit quiet) squeeing that took place. A few people looked at me oddly, but thankfully my teacher didn't notice. Oh deary, thank you SO MUCH!

Since I am a faster writer than artist, allow me, cherie, to show my immediate gratitude with a fic. It is, of course, Percy/Milo. Hopefully they are not too OOC.

Title: A Most Lovely Distraction
Fandom: Original RP
Pairing: Percival Lockley/Milo Wilkes
Rating: PG
Summary: Milo is trying to work, but Percy has other ideas.
Note: These two gents are original characters played by [livejournal.com profile] lacecravat and [livejournal.com profile] jestana, and ergo Milo and Percy belong to their respective creators.

Milo Wilkes turned around to fix his lover with a vexed look. )

Ugh, I have a big-ass math test on Wednesday, and I have a big-ass review for it tomorrow. I need to pass this especially since I failed the last two quizzes. *works like crazy*

On the lighter side of things and the school's literary magazine had a very productive meeting today…although it seems I've been switched from the poetry committee to the art committee. But I'm cool with that since I'm rather good with both PS and scanners anyway. ^^ Speaking of which, I am also working on some of the zine's art at home 'cause we really need this magazine published before, um, the end of school...? o__0 *frantically potshops in between math problems*

And in my spare time (Haha, not!), I finally took a twenty minute break to finish my Chauvelin/Robespierre fic based on the A&E The Scarlet Pimpernel. Mmm, crack pairing.

Title: Someone to Turn to
Fandom: A&E version of The Scarlet Pimpernel, Season 1, Episode 3
Pairing: Chauvelin/Marguerite, Chauvelin/Robespierre
Rating: PG
Summary: With the Dauphin missing, Robespierre is panicking. Who does he turn to? Chauvelin of course.
Notes: BIG FAT SPOILER!!! If you haven't seen Episode 3 of the first season of A&E's Scarlet Pimpernel, you may not want to read any further.

Also, this is not how I normally view Robespierre. In the Scarlet Pimpernel, he is very much a frigidly intelligent, bloodthirsty tyrant so if he reads as a bit of a bastard, that was fully intended. Oh and if the above description doesn't convince you that he's the villain of the series, his coat also has guillotine buttons. I kid you not. -_-'

Maximilien Robespierre's hard-heeled shoes rapped an agitated staccato against the large square tiles of Paul Chauvelin's private office. )

Happy New Year, everyone! It was a really awesome one for me. Of course, I love any holiday that revolves around staying up late and drinking alcohol. *is kidding* Seriously though, it was very nice. During the afternoon I did inventory at the Green Dragon, and later my grandmother came over our house, and my sister's boyfriend stopped by. He even brought Robin Williams Live On Broadway. It was the funniest comedy act EVER! *hearts Robin Williams* It even had a reference to George Washington and the Continental Congress. *grin*

And I have finally finished the rest of the fics for [livejournal.com profile] tattooedraven, [livejournal.com profile] bhriste, and [livejournal.com profile] girl4edwards04. And I also have a fic for [livejournal.com profile] muted_storms. ^^

Title: Chances
Fandom: American Civil War RPS
Pairing: kind of implied General Lee/General Longstreet
Rating: PG
Summary: (Post-Battle of Chancellorsville and Stonewall Jackson's death.) James Longstreet and Robert E. Lee discuss the possible fate of the Confederacy.
Note: Written for [livejournal.com profile] girl4edwards04 who mentioned she liked my Civil War slash. Btw, that whole lost-my-right-arm sentence, Lee actually said that.

In my English class, we are currently doing the play The Crucible. For me, this is the second time around since my class brushed on it briefly during my sophomore year at my old school. I pretty much instantly fell in love with it; it’s such a gripping and emotional play. Anyways, back then a year ago I said I should write some yummy Crucible slash. However, I just never got around to it.

But at last that has been changed. ^^ In my current class, I have been mostly playing my fav character Reverend Hale (with a brief stint as Giles Corey), and the poor dear Reverend has acted as a very effective muse to my already bunny-swamped brain. I doubt I’ll ever write anything for this fandom again, but I’m sure Arthur Miller is still rolling in his grave now anyways…

This first version of the story is from Reverend Hale’s POV.

Title: Jesus in My Mind
Fandom: The Crucible
Pairing: one-sided Reverend Hale/John Proctor and John Proctor/Elizabeth Proctor
Rating: PG
Summary: (takes place between Act II & III) Reverend Hale comes back to see John Proctor again later during the night of Elizabeth’s arrest.
Notes: Hmm, the writing’s a bit on the sensational side, but I hope you will all forgive me. Oh and whenever Hale refers to his “illness” or “disease”, he’s talking about his attractions to men. (Companion piece to “Angel Here Before Me”)
