So here's a bit of AU Asmodeus/Raphael for you all. This one was started waaaaay back in April and then got set aside. However, I've recently begun another storyline with my RP partner halosphere, and we're doing an AU featuring angel!Asmodeus and a demon!Raphael. Unsurprisingly, that made me want to go pick up this fic again (though her Raphael is gearing up to be plenty more evil than this one *grin*).

Next update should be Lucifer/Beelzebub again. In the meantime, enjoy the fic! ^^

Haha, you people don't even want to know how long this story has been hiding on my hard drive. About two years. Anyway, marian_vel reminded me of its existence so I pulled it out, edited some bits, and voila.

Short and sweet, Lucifer and Beelzebub have a private moment.

Notes: I'm still trying to work out the balance for Beelzebub's character between brilliant manager and eccentric misanthrope so in this fic, he's speaking his pronouns according Elizabethan English rules. Testing to see how this speech pattern works for him.

Surprise A/R fic! I'm trying to set up a separate journal just for my writing, and while going through fics on my hard drive, I found some Asmodeus/Raphael that I wrote in April '09 but forgot to post online. It's a rework of a crappy A/R fic I did back in 2005 called "Alleluia". Soooo old! *shudder*

Anyway, this time around I've fleshed the story out and spread it into three parts. So before I go to bed, here's Part 1 now, and when I wake up tomorrow, I'll proofread and then post part 2. Part 3 will be a rewrite of the original 2005 fic; that bit still needs some work, but it's almost done.

'Nother big thank you, airtravel, for the Christmas morning Raphael and Asmodeus art. That was amazing and caught me completely by surprise. ^__^ And thank you to jestana for the Asmodeus/Raphael fic (sooo hawt!) and for the really thoughtful British monarchy book you sent me. (I squeed when I unwrapped it.) Since I like to write historical fiction set in various time periods of Great Britain, that book will be such a handy quick reference. :D

Christmas Day was great for my family, and travel schedules coincided perfectly. My crazy relatives came to my family's house, everybody brought food, and we threw wrapping paper balls at each other, etc. A fun time was had by all, haha. And a fun time is still mine: there were some leftover mini-lobster rolls that my grandma made. Guess who's been washing the mayonnaise off and then dipping the lobster in butter? *grin*
