tsuru_sanI made a most lovely discovery this week: my library has fast, wireless connection on the third floor where the history books are. I think we all know where my laptop and I will be spending a good portion of the summer. ^__~
And now here's my first ever finished Gillington writing. ^^
Title: Never Finding the Opportune Moment
Pairing: Norrington/Gillette

Word Count: 100 + one
People moved in and out of each other's lives like ocean waves through a harbor. In the Royal Navy, one's life wasn't always long and sometimes neither were friendships.
Lieutenant Gillette and Commodore Norrington had sailed together, had become friendly, and were stationed in Port Royal. Carefully, the two men kept everything at that. They hid hopeful glances and instead exchanged straight-backed salutes. Unaware that their tender feelings were requited, they politely restrained themselves, the twin spheres of their lives swinging so very close and almost touching. But in the end, time passed and they in turn passed each other by.
